From living legends to hometown heroes, our audience casted votes via the Black Celebrity Giving platform. To date we’ve honored over 60 men and boys whose diverse achievements
and dedication to community development promotes Black male excellence at its highest pinnacle. In 2018 we will tape the first live BlackManCan Awards Show in Atlanta, Georgia.

Brandon Frame is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of TheBlackManCan, Inc. an award winning and internationally recognized non-profit organization focused on celebrating, educating and inspiring boys and men of color. He is the Co-founder of the award winning Twitter chat #hiphoped and the author of “Define Yourself, Redefine the World: A Guided Journal for Boys and Men of color.” A celebrated educator, leader and mentor, Brandon’s visionary work has been featured in the Boston Globe, CBS, and NBC. He has also received the Martin
Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Award, Hartford Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Changemaker of the Year Award, NV Magazine’s Mover & Shaker and BET’s Next in Class in the field of Education. Brandon Frame is a graduate of Morehouse College and currently resides in Bronx, NY
Morehouse College's Ray Charles Performing Arts Center is located at the edge of the historic West End district at the corner of Joseph P. Lowery Boulevard and West End Avenue.
The complex is named for Ray Charles, the recording and performance artist from Albany, GA, who became a music legend through his ability to fuse elements of rhythm & blues, gospel and blues.
